使用宝石显微镜对红宝石进行观察，在腰棱处可见定向排列的金红石短针，这一特征与缅甸抹谷红宝石相吻合。此外，红宝石内部还可见无色透明、晶形完好的方解石包裹体，其中部分方解石被半透明的蓝色物质所覆盖，拉曼光谱分析显示蓝色薄层状物质为青金石。据前人研究报道，青金石在红宝石和尖晶石中仅以独立包裹体的形式出现，而此次发现则是青金石首次以“糖霜状”形式分布在方解石包裹体上，这无疑为我们提供了宝贵的研究价值。进一步观察发现，方解石内部含有点状暗黄色包裹体，经拉曼光谱鉴定这些暗黄色包裹体为自然硫。此外，红宝石内部还可见一个扁平六边形橙黄色晶体，拉曼光谱显示451、506和869 cm\u003Csup>-1\u003C/sup>处的特征峰位。通过比对RRUFF数据库，我们确定这种稀有矿物为比钙霞石（rruff.info; R060642）。值得一提的是，在比钙霞石晶体中也检测到了自然硫的存在，其拉曼位移位于221 Also present were well-formed, colourless, transparent calcite crystals, which were partially coated by a thin, semi-transparent, bright blue layer (Figure 7b). Raman analysis revealed this blue layer to be lazurite (Figure 8). Lazurite has been reported previously in ruby and spinel as isolated crystals (Renfro &amp; Koivula 2019; Aung 2020), but this is the first time we have seen lazurite occurring as a 'sugar coating' on calcite inclusions. Also present in the calcite crystals were some dot-like, dark yellow inclusions, which were identified as sulphur (Figure 7b). In addition, the ruby contained a platy, hexagonal, orangey yellow crystal, for which Raman spectroscopy yielded peaks at 451, 506 and 869 cm\u003Csup>-1\u003C/sup> (Figure 9). The inclusion was identified as bystrite by comparison to a reference spectrum for this rare mineral in the RRUFF database (rruff.info; sample R060642).
