Online courses and learning activity
If you register for a GUILD Online Courses account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password, along with whether you consented to receive course-related email updates. Registrations are reviewed before an account is approved for access.
Once you have access to a course, we record learning activity tied to your account so the platform and our team can track your progress — for example, which videos and course sections you have watched, how much of a video you watched, quiz and assessment attempts and results, and completion of course modules. We use this information to run the courses (such as unlocking the next module once you pass an assessment), to provide you with a record of your own progress, and to help us understand which content is working well and where courses could be improved.
We do not use this learning activity information for advertising, and we do not sell it. It is retained for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping, then deleted or anonymized. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of this information as described under “Your rights” below.
Legal bases
Where applicable data-protection laws require a legal basis, we process personal information to perform a contract, pursue legitimate interests (such as operating and securing our services), comply with legal obligations, or with your consent where consent is required.
